A Perfect Shot

Aloha Bros and Lady Bros,

Yesterday I achieved a goal of mine that started way back when I was in the 7th grade (at least I think). I threw a disc golf disc 155', soaring through trees and branches, until it then smashed chains with the sound of a 500 yr. old battles last swing of the sword before victory. I was elated, beyond myself with 100% achievement and satisfaction. It felt damn good to kick that bucket list in the face! But I ask myself, what could have possibly led to the period at the end of what I assume is probably my largest run-on sentence?!?! I guess I'll pick apart my brain and see if I can't find a hypothetical answer, for you, so you can all achieve your goals as well.
I guess it is best to start at the beginning, the birth place of it all... The BIG BANG, and THE UNIVERSE...I'm kidding, though really, it did have to all start somewhere. What I was going to say, before I so rudely interrupted myself, was that you first and foremost have to try new things. Get out and experience the wonders the world has to offer. Without experiencing things then you will have no idea what you could have missed. (Side note: Ignorance is bliss, maybe, but I doubt it.) Even for you introverts I believe you can find a way to experience new things (books are one of the best ways to explore imagination and possibilities). This is all hypothetical, of course.
This next one is easy, simple, and as cliche as jumping on the bandwagon when you don't know your own identity. DO WHAT YOU MAKES YOU HAPPY, THEN... YOU'LL BE HAPPY! This is really an expansion off of the first and foremost. Once you start trying new things and figuring out what the world has to offer you, both good and bad. Eventually you will find something that you enjoy a lot. Something that makes you happy. Something that you love. BOOM! Rave and rant, all hypothetical.
You can't get anywhere without struggle. Life is hard right? It can be a bitch right? But what is an easy life where everything is already at your table, just handed to you. Well, if that were me, I would probably obsess over what other peoples tables are like. I would be enthralled onto other peoples lives and how they came to be who they are. That seems awkward and a waste of time not being yourself. Struggle. NO PAIN, NO GAIN. You get out what you put in. Be tough people, it is important to stay strong. Face your fears. Grieve when you lose a loved one. Push past your pain when you have to and conquer struggle. If life were easy, everyone would get what they wanted and then someone would get the whole world blowing up and we'd be nothing. WE CAN'T HAVE THAT! So, we make it a struggle for those people to achieve what they want and it just so happens to be a good thing that other people want the opposite of that and we are all alive. Really though, just a preacher in a park at night howling to all the neighborhood cats and dogs, hypothetical.
Here it goes, a quick thanks to the squirrel for his nutshell. I tried disc golf once. I learned to love disc golf even though a lot of the times it sucked when I played like crap. However, I persevered though my up and down relationship until a few days ago I got my world blown up. A truly "AWE MOMENT". To make it sound lame: I threw a disc into a basket from a little down the way in one shot. Dream big, set goals, and conquer your life. All hogwash really, just hypothetical situations.
If you read through this whole thing, well, thanks for listening. Perhaps my self help book will one day be of assistance to you... As you can tell, I love raving and ranting. Therefore I love telling whomever you readers are this stuff. It makes me feel good. Hypothetically speaking, I don't know your definition of good. Now scamper off and do what you love, achieve things!

-With all my innards on a dinner plate,
   J o e y

P.S. If you want, tell me how you feel about my hypotheticals. Or share your goals and what you love. Or swear at me via a comment or something!
